SELINE SHENOY IS AN AUTHOR, BLOGGER AND PODCASTER WHO FOCUSES ON PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT, SELF-Esteem, productivity AND CULTURAL ISSUES.
Seline is the founder and writer of The Dream Catcher – an online community that connects and encourages thousands of readers and listeners every month from all over the world to live their dream lives and make a difference since 2014. She has contributed to online publications such as Forbes, MindBodyGreen, Elite Daily, Life Hack, Brainz Magazine, Medium and others.
In Jan. 2018, she launched The Dream Catcher Podcast where she’s interviewed over a 160 experts, including bestselling authors, influencers, spiritual leaders and academic scholars.
In 2021, Seline was awarded the prestigious UAE Golden Visa, a long-term residence visa, by the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority for her contributions to writing and podcasting.
Seline is also the co-owner and managing partner of an IT and software distribution business.
BACKGROUND + EDUCATION
Born and raised in Dubai, Seline considers herself to be a global citizen having traveled extensively to over 35 countries across Europe, North America, Australia, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. It's influenced her mission to spread awareness about cultural and racial acceptance. She graduated with a B.S. in marketing and psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign and earned a masters degree in global marketing and advertising from Emerson College in Boston. In 2020, she received an M.S. in Journalism with distinction from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. She also has certifications in hypnotherapy, life coaching, NLP, personality assessments such as MBTI and Strong Inventory, and creative and sales content writing.
