Why Being Ordinary is Perfectly Okay
Today, we live in the “Age of the Selfie”, where garnering more “likes” and broadcasting one’s social media persona fuels everyone’s ego. Being average or ordinary has earned a bad rap because it implies that someone is undistinguished, boring, and is a nobody.
But our definition of being ordinary is one-dimensional—it’s based solely on superficial criteria. It disregards virtues such as our compassion, kindness, dependability.
